They are complex devices, and have been the subject of the highest percentage of Class I (serious and potentially fatal) recalls. As more of these life-supporting machines are built, we wanted to highlight some of the companies– ResMed, Koninklijke Philips NV and GE -whose products have relatively low injury and death event MAUDE report percentages.
